I want to remind all of you of the ongoing activities of the Young Adults Ministry at OLS:
2) Small Community Faith Sharing and Individual Reflection, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm at the Lifehouse. This is a six week series - a program designed by the Renew International (the same organization that provides materials for the Why Catholic? program) We meet weekly on Saturday afternoons, and will end on August 14 -
The theme is "Awakening the Mystic Within". Come when you can - It is ok if you have to miss a few sessions - you don't have to commit to coming each week.
3) Wednesday, July 21, 7:00 - 8:00pm: Evening Eucharistic Adoration in the Church - "Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?"
4) July 22 is the official start of the 2nd season Softball. The roster is full.
5) The Knit/Crochet group meets monthly - the 4th Saturday of each month. The next one is July 24 at 12:30 - 2:30. Bring any patterns you'd like to work on - the shawls you create will be given to the homebound in our parish.
6) Tuesday, July 27, 7:00 - 8:00pm: Praise & Worship in the Church. We are still looking for guitar players to join us
7) TOT (Theology on Tap) - TOT is back!! This is a speaker series that will take place in The Chocolate Bar, 13979 S. Virginia in the Sierra Summit shopping center, 7:00 pm - 8:30pm.
The topics focus on faith and contemporary issues that directly affect the lives of young adults. The goal is to provide a forum for you to learn about and discuss your faith in a fun, relaxing, social setting. Everyone is encouraged to attend, bring friends, enjoy the talk (20 - 30 minutes) with a Q & A period to follow, and order lots of food and drinks!
The first speaker is Fr. Mike Mahone, and the first topic is "What the Hell is Purgatory?"
I encourage all to attend any/all of the above, and bring friends. Don't hesitate to contact me with your questions/comments.

Interested in indoor co-ed volleyball that plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings- still a few spots available. First game starts on March 22 will all games located on Plumas gym corner of Monroe and Plumas. $25 fee includes uniform.
Come and see our young adult coed team OLS Falcons play the first season softball on Friday nights at the Reno Sports Complex starting on the second week of April. I'm taking sign-ups for the OLS Eagles. The second season starts in the month of July and ends in October.
